Welcome to Spoilt Rotten Mobile Grooming! We bring professional grooming services to your doorstep, ensuring a convenient and stress-free experience for you and your pet. Our policies are designed to ensure the well-being of your pet, our own safety and the satisfaction of our clients.

Appointment Scheduling Booking

Appointments can be scheduled via phone or message. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot. If you have special scheduling needs, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you. There may be a times when due to traffic a small delay may occur in the arrival of the mobile groomer arriving.

Cancellation/Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost. This policy allows us to manage our schedule effectively and offer appointments to other clients in need.

Health and Safety Requirements Vaccinations

It is recommended that pets should be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Date of last vaccination would be beneficial for our records.

Inform us of any existing health conditions or allergies your pet may have. This helps us tailor our services to meet their specific needs. Common conditions to disclose include:

Behavioural Issues

  • Aggression towards strangers

  • Separation anxiety

  • Sensitivity to touch

Grooming Process Arrival

Ensure your pet is ready at the scheduled appointment time, ideally have had chance to go to the toilet. Late arrivals may result in a rescheduled appointment to avoid disrupting our schedule. Our groomer will arrive in a fully equipped mobile grooming van, which includes all the necessary tools and amenities to provide a comfortable grooming experience for your pet. If you wish us to groom your dog whilst you are away from the premises a key should be passed to the groomer before the appointment and guidance on power supply provided. Any persons that may be required to enter the property during the grooming time also to assist in unauthorised persons gaining access to property or your dog. Spoilt Rotten has an up to date disclosure and barring CRB to give you peace of mid should this be the case.

Pricing and Payments Pricing

Our pricing is based on the size, breed, and condition of your pet, as well as the specific services requested. Additional fees may apply for special handling, matting, flea infestation, or extensive de-shedding.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Wallet. For your convenience.

Pre-Grooming Preparation

Ensure your pet has had a chance to relieve themselves before the appointment. This helps make the grooming process smoother and more comfortable for your pet.

Punctuality

Be prepared for the groomer’s arrival to ensure your pet receives the full benefit of their grooming session. If you have any time constraints, please inform us ahead of time.

If a pet shows signs of extreme aggression or stress, we will assess the situation and determine the best course of action. This may include using calming techniques, taking breaks, or in extreme cases, terminating the grooming session.

For pets that require special handling, additional fees may apply to account for the extra time and care needed. We will discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding with the grooming session.

Termination of Service

In rare cases, we reserve the right to terminate grooming services if a pet poses a significant risk to themselves or the groomer. Safety is our top priority, and we will always act in the best interest of your pet and personal safety of groomer.

Liability

Injuries

While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety, Spoilt Rotten Mobile Grooming is not responsible for injuries resulting from pre-existing conditions or sudden, unforeseen reactions. We will immediately inform you of any incidents and take appropriate action to care for your pet.

At times a pet may move suddenly and an accident may occur this is unavoidable at times and a risk with any groomer undertaking a grooming service. Nail trims can add an additional risk of the quick in the nail to be clipped and cause bleeding, again this is not uncommon and the groomer with provide treatment to prevent bleeding. It is felt only fait to warn of these possibilities and every care will be given to avoid this but it is a hazard any groomer should advise of.

Damage

We are not liable for damage to collars, leashes, or other accessories left with your pet during their grooming session. Please remove any valuable or sentimental items before the appointment.

We recommend starting with a basic grooming session to introduce your pet to the process. Our groomers are experienced in handling first-time grooming appointments and will ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure.

What if I have multiple pets that need grooming?

We can accommodate multiple pets in one appointment. Please inform us when scheduling so we can allocate sufficient time and resources. Only one pet can be in the vehicle at any one time for safety reasons but consecutive appointments can be offered.
